"Being inclusive is having a human connection without placing judgments before it."
-Sarah Greichen

Diversity (noun) - 1. The state of being diverse; a variety. 2. The practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.
The beauty of diversity lies within the differences each of us hold. We all live on different parts of the spectrums of gender, race, sexual orientation, and ability. We have different religions, favorite foods, musical preferences, and favorite colors. The variety in our individual attributes and tastes makes life interesting and beautiful! These should be celebrated, but in recent years, it's become popular to vilify them - and how crazy is that?
All races, genders, sexual orientations, and religions are valid and should be honored. Instead of seeing someone different from us as scary, we should learn from those differences and revel in them! We can all learn different things from each other, share experiences with each other, and celebrate all of these variables rather than chastising them.

All of these differences make life more interesting and fun - why fight them when we can include them? Inclusion allows us to create a tapestry of many colors. Let's make an effort to respect and even enjoy everyone's differences. We should reach out - on purpose - to people who are different from us. Instead of listening to respond, listen to their viewpoints and really hear what they're saying. We don't need to try to change anything about other people just so they can fit into our own box.
At our core, we're all the same - it's our flavors that make life better.
